Dragon Boat Master Series Part II

This morning went to Bedok Reservoir for the Dragon Boat Master Series Part 2. A very big waste was the first round where we were not really warm up, we lose till we need to row for another time which really took our strength away. Row extra set.

Problem was ITE only got we the 20 rower for the race where other team got few time more than us. So they can actually change people for every set and we were all coming up from the race then the next minute go down, totally no time to rest/recover.

Overall, I really row all out. I felt the force when I am rowing and this is really power that normal training don't have. I can feel the 20 rower were bond together. Good race ITE!

P.S: Will work harder for the coming race!

Navy Open House

Today we are having outing to Navy zone, the Navy Open House. Well some said the school trying to release stress but it doesn't work. This is just what others said, but I enjoy myself other than the hot day.

The program I love most was the experience of standing in the ship. Very fun especially the fast speed. I can feel that I jump/fly.

After that, we were given free time to walk around and everybody were heading to the food area. Sitting down and eat, drink, slack till time out.

When we got back to school, we went for break for about 1 hour then continue with the Filming talk in school.

Well today submit the work for DMT Lab 7. Fun lab that I get to experience the making of a DVD disc with cover. I almost spend the whole weekend on it and the result is so rewarding.

NIE teachers visit + staying on late night

My duty for today: Bring the NIE teacher around my school, ITE College East. NIE the future teachers in Primary and Secondary school.

Suppose to gather in school by 7.30am, but once again I'm late.... Reaching school at 8.45am and the teachers arrive at around 9am+. Haha...no one questioning me why I'm late, so I just proceed on.

I am in-charge of the group B, each group suppose to have 30 teachers and tour around the 3 different areas. Well doing the hosting etc. stuff about 1 hour. Then follow by another group. Whole time end around 1pm+.

Remember there was one teacher asking me alot about my school, he prefer asking me as I can give him more detail information. But one question I am having problem was "What you like about this Campus", and my answer was teachers over here are friendly, nice place, freedom then my brain was empty without any other thing. Questioning myself will this be the answer as the teacher was asking for more?

When all the Student Council went for their lunch at the school Function Hall, my friends and I are selected for a photo shoot. For my info, it is about the school poster stuff where they carry out for event and show outsider the confident that ITE CE student have within. Well I am not the focus ba...just help up as they think the SC shirt look nicer.

Way back home, I tested out the new software I learnt yesterday, Adobe Encore DVD 2.0. Well coming on Monday, we are going to create our first DVD disc with all our labsheet project. Took about the whole day finding out how to use to make my own Menu Background.

Well finish up my whole Menu Background and linking of DVD at the next day 6.45am. Wow...Saturday 2pm still got Dragon Boat training!

Celebrating Mother Day!!

Happy Mother's Day! Together with my family members went to Sentosa and celebrate the special day. Well starting with cycling at $5/hr.

Then after that one hour of cycling, we went to a spot and rest. Here is when my Father and Mother get together at the sea side after a long time of working. They seldom have the time to go beach or even cycle since we are born. Creating time for them yea...

Around evening, we end off with the shopping at Vivo City. Dinner at Food Republic, so expensive man....but no choice, at that period of time everywhere were full.

Today sea training ended at around 2pm. Then we went to have our lunch together with teacher at Tampines 801. After that I went home to complete my DMT Assignment 6. Wow....lots of editing to do. Time went very fast and I didn't feel it till I see the time.

I also spent my whole day on the Assignment but the more I do, the more I found it fun. Especially the credit roll part where the NG scenes add on. It really take a lot of time when you get into detail. Well the whole output was finally ready for teacher to mark on Monday, hope everything go fine.

This morning, went for my DMT Assignment Test 2. Wow....not much confident after all. Then afternoon, went for another test for CSV. I am the last to finish. Well also not much confident as my answer isn't explain fully. Ai yo yo... ....

After that I went to the stadium to see the telematch as some of the Dragon Boater go for it as the PE department request for players. Then I went to Project Student Council meeting. Once again, boring... ...

Finally everything were over and I head toward the Tampines Mall as I meet my friends over there for a show, Spiderman 3. The show was nice with suitable 3D animation. Very nice effect, confirm took a long period of time to create it. It last for about 2 hours 30 minutes which consider long. Worth it!

Tonight having dinner at Orchard Center Point. Hmm....well eating Indonesia food at $19 per person. With the number of 20 dishes food with unlimited calling till you full. Sure will bring my friends there and eat some day!

Today after school, we had our lunch and some of us go to Swimming Pool and dye hair. OMG it will be the worst dye hair environment ever as we went in to a small toilet and dye our hair secretly. Well the colour isn’t bright as we are still studying don’t want to get in to trouble where Section Head or any other teacher come in. Therefore we got the colour Ash Brown.

Soon after that we wash up and I went for DB RT (Extra Training). Well the training start with a 3 round warm up run with jumping stairs and normal warm up. Then we proceed to the GYM where all my strength gone. Wa…all the weight start with 2 digit. Soon after about one hour, I went to the ET talk where many schools get together and share about the e-learning stuff and new software. I went there mainly because the AMK ITE will also be attending, so heard from my Section Head want us to attend due to the Exchange Program. As Veronica isn't free, so I went there alone.

At first I am so regret and lose. Then after that, go through a tea break and I found the AMK people, once again I get along with them. Overall the interesting part for me I think will be the NEW Adobe Software CS3. New package:

Family Day

Well finally a week of study, meeting and training had gone.... Today a day for family outing. Throughout the 6 days of the week, I had been going out till late night. Dragon Boat training had increase, so tired!

Sunday, a day I set free for my family since years ago. This afternoon I went out with my parents and elder brother to Bugis. As my second brother isn't around due to his work in UAN therefore we carry on. Main purpose of going to Bugis is actually my mum idea as she wanted to go OG.

We went to Bugis and park our car at the Bugis Junction then we walk around at the shopping mall before proceeding to the Bugis Street. Soon we walked pass Bugis Street to the OG, then I left them and go to Sim Lim Square to get my 3 colour ink cartridge as my friend was working there. $9.90 down to $7.90 each, I think it worth it.

Soon my brother came and join me and we walk around the Sim Lim to check up new goods. All the way down to first floor and I got my iPod skin. Nice skin that make my iPod look special! After that we went back to OG and meet our parents.

Next we had our lunch and proceed to Bugis Street. We shop around from first floor to second floor till I got my Converse shoes. It was a very hard decision for me to choose the shoes I want as all of them look good. End up I choose the white one as it is easier to match clothing. Walking back to Bugis Junction and we make our way home.
