Today after attending the Design Show in the afternoon. My friends and I went to watch a movie The Unborn. It was horror genre and after watching it, I don't consider it as boring. In fact I think there are meaning due to the research shown regarding the process of how the ghost/demon came along.

From the movie I learnt that sound effect and research is rather important. We need sound to impact the audience, hence expressionism. We also need research to make our story interesting, create value. One of the thing remind me was the door, which my lecture in Design History & Culture told. The grandfather or creator of horror genre uses a medium that currently we still kept. It is the door, which enhance the mysterious, secret, excitement and scary feel. The door can represent gateway from hell or anywhere. The other element I found in horror movie is mirror, which normally reflect the other world of earth.

Yesterday night meet up with my friends and decided to watch a midnight movie. Therefore with the disagree of horror genres, we watch the Confession of a Shopaholic. It was bring up today as the very morning post.

The movie was indeed funny reflecting the shopper in the reality. I see how crazy shopper can be and how amazing after a change over. Sometime I just like their way of living and the environment. The architecture are so classic, shopping over there look like of high class unlike the building in Singapore, it is like too simple, in terms of the wall texture.

Finally the two block of MOI P1 is over. It's time for me to enjoy my 3 weeks only holiday. I will make it a enjoyable and fulfilling one. Really have a lot of experience during the pass two month. I realise I am useless due to my style. I have always teach and apply those technique I learnt over and over again but I am not trying new stuff. All the while I am staying on my comfort zone. Therefore this holiday suppose to be a brush up. I have to pick up new skill and gain new style. I got to watch more movies, all type of genres. From now onwards, I will be learning instead of teaching. This will require an amount of hard-work, hopefully I can take it.

Just watch Twilight, can imagine how busy am I? There are countless of movie waiting for me, it is quite tired to see all. Think of getting an iPod touch again, due to the lost from my brother. Talking about iPod, do check out these new images I found on Google, type iPod 6G and search for the images. Damn cool!

Recently just watch the Twilight and I think it is nice, so fantasy and amazing love story. Although before that, remark was negative from my friends as they said storybook nicer than movie, but you know me, I dislike reading so I have no comment. I would like to recommend to people that never watch this before, it is really beautiful and I like the colour chosen, very desaturate.

Last day of school, finally everything is over and I am able to enjoy my holiday. End of freshmen year. When school reopen, hopefully I am in year 2.

In the evening we went to Janice Chinese Orchestra concert at the Victoria Concert Hall. It is full of Chinese instrumental music which make me sleep. I think cause I too tired due to pass few days never get a good night sleep, thus video editing is endless to meet perfection.

Well at last we went to have our dinner or should call supper at around Bugis, Arab Street. Then we went to shisha till midnight. Well although I never shisha, but I it is a good experience to see what is out there at night. I guess it is the design that interest the people that shisha. I almost try it but I tell myself better not.
